and you had better watch out......

on this very site, i clicked onto an ad for dating russian gals..my pc went down and out!!!

i had to reformat my system. this ain't no truckers story either

several attempts to notify the owner, thru a mod, to remove or look into this failed, as the ads are still here.

i think frankly, it best NO ONE click onto any dating ads here!!

The only ad I have clicked on was the one for UPS hiring and only did that for a friend looking for a job.

i sometimes do click onto ads, here and other message board sites. for one, it is advertising dollars. for two, curiosity.

i need not date russian, asian, or other foreign gals. but let me tell you, when there is a pic, of a nearly nekked woman, what's a horny guy to do, BUT CLICK ON THE AD..?????

then that's when my pc got zapped, most likely by some trojan malware.

You better stick to your emails. ... at least you can scan them before you open them. ...lol

The malware is better "PRO-tected" than thee.
Get away from them thar 'puter disease ridden sites (or get Malware PRO-tection like Kaspersky and/or Piriform CCleaner and/or MalwareBytes) and just wander over to the free (with innumerable "ads") click-bait porno-graphical sites.
I've telled U aboot one of 'em a wee while ago and it be well attended so ya shud halve no problem "discovering".
Get Protected for PROfessional viewing.

i have the paid version of malware bytes.
 
I have a Kaspersky disc that has worked so far to remove malware. I lost a hard drive while being subscribed to Norton. I use AVAST now. I do get fake messages but usually recognize them & don't click on then.

I find that Malwarebytes on me laptop isn't so great as it needs to update EVERY 24 HOURS and sadly not automatically like the other PROtection systems/programs i have installed.
I also have HitMan PRO on a 3 year deal.
I've not had a issue for a couple of years visiting questionable sites as I also use in-house "Warning" alerts.
I deleted Norton in '15 since it's useless and misses many threats.

i had Norton, many years ago. then i found that it took up too much computer resources. then i switched the the free versions of others.

i have found that in many instances, the free stuff is indeed good, but not great. i now have the paid version of Bit Defender for my anti-virus, and the paid version of malware bytes.

i had Hitman for a while, maybe not the pro version, it was ok, but not perfect.

i cannot really say for any certainty that any paid version of any program is 1000% effective.

obviously as i had the paid versions i just mentioned, came here and got zapped by the website about dating Russian women...!!!!!!

so now, NO MATTER the advertiser here, i will click onto any of them.

i remember many years ago, when i had a job going from RI to NJ, there was this group of bikers, all dressed up in those racing suits of the colors of the bike brands.

ok, so a couple of them would "pop a wheelie" in the lane to my left, and if you only knew the times i'd wish they would hit a pot hole or just "lose it" and slam into the Jersey wall...!!!!!
