ODFL | Ft Worth Road Driver

i was just curious if there are any day road runs out of the Ft Worth or Dallas terminals? If so, how long does someone have to be with Old Dominion to get one?

I don't run out of either terminal but, actual bid day runs are few and far between. My experience has been that most guys running during the day are extra board drivers. That having been said you need to have quite a few years in and be high on the seniority list to get a day bid, no matter what company you're with.

Dallas would be the place to get a daytime road bid. You'll spend time on the extraboard and then bid a nighttime run when you have the seniority but I don't know how long that will take. I'm guessing quite a few years to get a daytime road schedule.
