SAIA | Full-Time Dock Worker

What are the hours, wages, benefits, dress code, etc. for a full-time dock worker at Saia? Details on the distribution center in Burr Ridge, Illinois would be appreciated.

i think top pay is about $17 or $18/hr, and the same insurance benefits as everyone else after 90 days iirc. the dress code is common sense only except steel toe shoes must be worn.

Sounds pretty good. Do you know what the starting wage would be? And how stable are the hours? Like let's say I wanted to only work overnight, would I be able to get that or do they switch people's shifts around?

not sure about starting wage. i think our part timers make 14 or 15....so i'd say it starts around 15 or 16. usually you will stick to a certain shift. as always, there will probably be those times they ask you to come in earlier, later, etc.

30 min lunch and depends on the size of the terminal if any office is working @ night
