Newark, N.J.-based Guaranteed Overnight Delivery halted its less-than-truckload operations Oct. 29, the company said, becoming the latest LTL carrier in the competitive Northeast market to fold.
Guaranteed Overnight Delivery, which widely used the abbreviation G.O.D., recommended New Penn, a subsidiary unit of Yellow Roadway Corp., to its LTL customers, New Penn said in a release on its Web site.
