    I had heard he had four small tumors on his brain,a couple days ago and was scheduled to meet with doctors at Duke...A fine gentleman and a great player for the game of baseball..RIP Gary..

    Great player, and a huge part of the 86 Mets team. I would have really liked to see him in Cooperstown with a NYM cap. Definitely a sad day.
