True, but then we face arguments of genre distinction, who qualifies for what style, etc... Just looking for five of your personal favorites, regardless of style.

If I was to be put on an island with only one album to listen to for the rest of my life, it would be Tres Hombres - ZZ Top.
 
Hey, great list. I got to see ZZ Top last year and they ruled. Such a solid set and it's not often you get to see three guys who have been together for almost 50 years.

Desert island record: Led Zeppelin II. I can't get enough of that album. Though, Are You Experienced? would be a close second...

Loved the first 2 Led Zeppelin albums, after that, not so much.
ZZ Top, great trashy licks, great cars and women.
