In the perfect world, Mom and Dad get married, have a bunch of kids and live happily ever after. In the real world most of us comes from a dysfunctional family. It was right after WW 11. My biological father left and Mom and my brother and I lived in a small house on a chicken ranch behind grandma's house. My Dad showed up in 1947. Dad was wounded in the war and was unable to have children, so he was looking for a ready made family. Dad also suffered from dyslexia and was unable to read or write, but started up a business that with the help from Mom ran for more that 30 years. They were married for 49 years before Dad passed away. I miss him a lot. Happy Fathers Day to all the truck driving Dads out there. TP
