Have you received a CFC trust letter ?

Who has received this letter from the "CFC Trust " ?
Now they are telling me I am required to report a prorata share of Trust income on my federal tax return !
Of course they are a little late since I just recieved this letter today.
Wonder how long it will be before they dribble another few dollars out to us ?
 
I got that letter too. It says I recieved 59.00 of interest income then they took 23 dollars of that for administrative expense deduction. The only thing is I never got a check for interest. Does this mean they have some more money for us sitting somewhere drawing interest. How can i pay taxes on income I have not recieved.Not to mention I already filed taxes this year. I did recieve a w2 for the 500 and something they sent me last summer.
 
I talked to a few other people I worked with and they all received the letter.
We all had the same thought, why did they send it so late if we were expected to report it on our income tax returns ? Did you notice the letter didn't even have a date on the postmark ... or on the letter itself.
Good old CF ... sneaky SOB's !
 
i got mine too but i got it on our tax returns i don't fill too real late . it don't matter to them who's the IRS going to get on to con-way lol
