I realized earlier that with all the pension talk there has never been any discussion about post retirement healthcare.
What does Overnite/UPSF offer you guys for benefits?

Health care in this country right now is in crisis so I know what's being offered today will change but I'm still curious

In the benefits meeting, it was mentioned that retirement insurance is going to be available. You will get the information in the packet .

I'm not a UPSF employee but I was curious. Thanks

Retirement insurance is already available but those guys pay out pretty much there whole retirement check just for the insurance.......In our meeting they were talking about it changing for the better.....guess we will have to see.

We were told that when you retire you will be given $135.00 a year, for each your worked up to a max of 35 years to pay for the retirement insurance.

30 years X $135.00 = $4050 a year.
