With the recent news that UPS is making BIG TIME changes to their Health Care coverage for the working spouse's.....what do you think about what might happen around here......? I for one in order to keep the coverage we have now, would not mind one bit, paying a little more, rather than being FORCED into the OBAMACARE BS....After all GS is a businessman, and with heathcare costs sky rocketing, he is going to do what's best to keep Averitt rolling!

We just had a pre-benefits meeting, as for 2014 there will be no major changes, only a couple of dollars here and there, but not even corporate can answer what the following year holds in store for us. Keep in mind insurance has been going up 15-20% a year for many years in a row already and they've kept it "affordable", especially compared to many other employers who pass along the entire cost to their employees.
I sure hope so.......In TL we don't get all the briefings!
We had a very nice looking HR lady, not to mention any names MB, speak at our meeting and she said that we spent nearly 12,000.00 dollars to a government firm inspect our benefits. And in the near future we must pay 1 million dollars to the government for no other reason but that we are compliant to their specifications.
Probably because AVERITT offers us a so-called "CADILLAC PLAN"........This AHCA program is nothing more than a SHAKEDOWN of companies and individuals, who made the right choices!
As King obama has dictated, we will eventually lose our company funded healthcare and most of you will be forced into obamacare. Me, on the other hand, will NEVER EVER EVER submit to this ridiculous and unconstitutional bad legislation and will do without before doing a damn thing obama wants, needs, desires or dictates.
