FedEx Freight | health insurance

The sense of entitlement comes from when the money passes from my hand to theirs.....if they aren't providing the service I expect, the money could stop......Pretty simple premise really.

That's why everyone has the chance to vote on contract.

Fred Smith donates quite a bit to both parties too. Who do you think helped destroy the employee free choice act? FedEx flies Congressmen around on Corporate jets as if it's a personal taxi service.

Over $12,000,000 spent on lobbying. That's a mere fraction spent by the Teamsters, or any Unions combined.

I didn't give him any of my money under the guise of representing me.....I couldn't care less who he gives his money/support to....

And if a Union member doesn't donate to DRIVE he doesn't give something to anyone either. Don't try and tell these people their dues money goes to political contributions.

So this is a one way street even though we have a vested stake in Fed ex. That point of view is laughable at best. He represents us every day he is the leader of this company.

FEDEX: FedEx spent $8.7 million in campaign contributions and $71 million in lobbying expenditures from 2001 to 2010. It paid a .0005 percent effective tax rate recently, actually spending 42 times as much on lobbying Congress as it did paying taxes. To do this it utilizes 21 tax havens.

Interesting numbers......that amount of taxes you state fedex paid is exactly 100% more than the union contributed to our nation's treasury department, isn't it?

What's your point? If you want to go that route we could say they have contributed. They negotiate higher wages for members which in essence raises the amount contributed by members.
