Here's how some of the Hoffa delegates act when any non Hoffa lover dares to speak at a mic at the Teamsters convention:

Hoffa's slate won the right to have their At-Large VP candidates get nominated first, this morning. The first Teamsters United nominator starts at 14:05, which is exactly when the booing starts.

They don't seem to understand that what they are accomplishing is getting the few undecided delegates to vote for Teamsters United candidates.

What matters to the Old Guard Hofficers in this Union is #1. Their money, their big pensions, their Union-paid vehicle, their member-paid trip to Vegas every year (for the so-called "Unity" conference) and their power over others.
 
gee I'm little worried even being here. My local (cough cough200 cough) are proud to be loyal hoffa supporters. Imagine the gall of ANYONE trying to run a reform slate when all you have to do is look at all junior has accomplished. Good no, great contracts (particularly master freight) a pension plan second to none, the list goes on and on.Alright, I tried but couldn't keep writing with a straight face Oh what I meant by a pension plan second to none is, ours runs a close second to having none at all.
