I wonder if the are going to increase the gross weight also? I read something a few weeks ago that said they wanted to allow us to gross 92 or 97k (I don't remember which) with a 3 axle truck and a set of trailers.

I did not see anything in the article stating an increase in GVW would go along with the increase in length of trailers. It only seems like the two would go hand in hand. It is hard enough bringing 80 grand to a stop, and increasing the GVW would only add fuel to the fire for safety advocates .

i remember seeing a news article where i believe 97k was legal in some places.
