How slow is it?

Well, based on the first two week, I might make about half what I did last year, if we get busy later, then I might make a little more. I really expected to be working around fifty hours or so, I could have lived with that. The alternative is to sign a bunch of vacation bids, then I'll never know where I'm going.

If I can get some creative financing done, I might make it. The route is a cake walk, and I'm making a lot more per hour than I was before. I would be so much happier and relaxed if I can just get the bills sorted out.

Of course probably no one would take this route from me next year because they are all a bunch of greedy bass turds.

I'm sure you have the seniority come next bid to stick it to a junior man if thats what you wanna do, I would! I'm all about helping a man out but come bid time I am thinking about whats the best fit for me.

So, I gotta ask, are the cases not there? Is that why you ain't killin it on ABC? Back on ABC, I would do 400 cases at a hospital in 1.5 hours and it would run my ABC way up! On DIP those stops only pay .010 per case, even if you have to sort, it don't matter, is that what your up against?

If I pull the pallet off and drop it, it's 8 cents per case, If I sort it out It's I don't know 19 or 20 cents? I'm doing fiddy to hunder percent more than hourly on ABC, but hey, thirty hours at that rate is still only half as much as 65~70 hours at the other rate with overtime. After six years of that noise, I'm strongly inclined to let them keep the hours and the money.

I could have taken a 5 day bid, but I didn't like the looks of them, they were all in painful areas. I figured it would be best to go to the same place every day, and the only one left was the 4 day casino bid. The casino is 11 miles from our terminal, so sometimes I come back and hook another trailer and run another route, or if there's room, they'll put the casino on the right side of the trailer and the other route on the left. If I had something to do every day after the casino, even if it were just a few stops with two or three hunder cases, with the added miles, I'd be sitting pretty, and still have some time and energy left, but so far, I've had three days where it didn't happen. I worked 3 hours today, 2.5 hours last Saturday, and I think 4.5 hours last Tuesday. But heck, it feels like a three day weekend. So you see, I already have a love/hate relationship with this route.

I had 470 cases yesterday and 200 came off on a pallet drop. I only had like 8 stops. Left at 4 am back by 1215. I'm by the hr to

Do ya all move these cases with a remote control or do you use some kind of computerized equipment?
