TForce | Hows That Union Thing Working out for the UPS Parcel Drivers !!!!

never because they have some much other stuff going on besides just the small package co. and freight, they have there hands in much more than this. check out all of the co. they own. and all the investments they have.there is a reason they gross over a billion every quarter.Also we still have the morons from overnite in charge. that is why we have not taken off yet. same co. different name. when ups takes over it will be a total different co. Then all of the non union people will see the need for the balance of the union.

This is purely rumor, but I heard we have until January to get rid of these boneheads.... Please tell me its not so......

Hopefuuly they will change this problem soon.

My new jobclass is "Freight Redundancy Specialist".

This Person will have the ability
to tolerate mentally challenged dispatchers
who excell in the art of ignorance redundancy,
and can withstand driving 18 wheelers at
top end speeds in circles.
 
I'd like to hear from all the anti union drivers how bad it is for the Union UPS parcel drivers. I don't expect to hear much !

Because when you fly blind and off hear say you don't have much of a fight..... I have met more unhappy nonunion drivers than union hands down......And the sad thing they are either scared or to lazy to get information for themselves...Doesn't matter if you agree or disagree just go find the info for yourself and then you can argue with facts and not sound like a 4 year old....This is on both sides so don't get all excited and give me 10 posts of 1 liners....

If I can say it in 1 line why not. I'm not out to fill these threads with alot of blah blah blah.I've noticed that on alot of threads people drift away from the topic pretty fast. I am here trying to learn and get facts. So to keep this topic in line, i'll ask it again.

The first question to be honest I did not quite understand. So I suggest that you do repeat yourself in a claerer manner.

The only thing I really know about you, after a few hundered posts is that you really,really want to be in the Teamsters union bad.

Well, as a "UPS" feeder driver, my job is awesome. Love it big time. I thank GOD everyday for blessing me with this position at a Union company with the great pay and beni's
Now, while I was in pkg, I would pray (especially in summer) that an opening would come available in feeder. You earned that 26+ an hour in pkg. But all in all, if you kept a positive attitude, went in with a smile on your face and joy in your heart, the job wasnt all bad. Some day's would take all you had, but other's were awwwwwwright.

I'd like to hear from the anti union people what is wrong with UPS's union representation.

I am very pro union, grew up in a union household. But i'm willing to listen to both sides of the issue, I just havent heard of any UPS parcel employees having any negative issues with being represented. Krash reinforced that with his last post.

If nobody can come up with anything then maybe you anti union people should think about what your trying to pass up.
