TV coverage is kind of sketchy so far, don't know the damage and its ongoing..
This could be a black eye on the President although I read he's trying to get ahead of it or so they say.
Will we see similarity's between this Hurricane and Katrina that hit New Orleans?
One kind of strange coincidence is that Trump just came back from Arizona where he did his Phoenix speech.
Right before Katrina, President Bush was in Arizona.

Katrina was beyond a category 5 I think Harvey at best was a 3.5
The biggest worry at this point will be all the flooding
According to the on site reporter it doesn't look all that bad except the wind damage and a few electrical fires

Yep. The price of tea in China is on the rise also. Trump should be impeached for that also.

No. We won't see people drowning and getting shot to death. It's a Republican Mayor this time around.

Bush blew up the levees in New Orleans, remember? And CNN just reported that when Trump left Arizona's speech, he had Air Force One circling out in the Gulf in an effort to get those winds twirling.
    He needs to be 'peached.

Go ahead, don't let facts get in the way of your false information. You must have got that 3.5 category from CNN.

Already downgraded to a tropical storm and nobody is waist deep in water in Galveston says this was not a Katrina hurricane

I think it's funny how they jumped right from Katrina to Harvey without stopping to visit Sandy...

The media wants pain, anguish, and despair. They will be disappointed if there isn't any death. It's Trump's fault either way.

Katrina gets the attention of the Blacks where nobody cares about the rich, white, oceanfront property owners from Sandy.
    It's all politically motivated.

It was all hype but don't worry Texas the taxpayers will pay for the damages because no insurance is required

It didn't hit in Galveston.I imagine the Rockport area got whacked pretty good..Local Gubment put Federal Gubment in a bad way in NOLA.Parts of Mississippi got hit hard by Katrina but their local Gubment did their job,pre and post hurricane.

As one Texan once told me, in many parts of Texas there are hardly no building codes
You could build a house of old tires if you wanted

OK, and what's the significance of no insurance then? You made it sound like taxpayers would foot the bill for all repairs.

Name a insurance company that will cover no building codes at reasonable rates and we will continue...
