A lot of ripped up stuff. Still a bunch of flooding. The road to Myrtle was a journey to remember. Stores are empty. People without power. As I sit here on the beach people are gathering up debris onto a trailer.
It's awesome to see people come together. Neighbors helping neighbors. The news media would have you believe that we are a divided country. That America is ruined by helpless communities unable to bridge whatever gap ( racial, gender, income, etc ) but America is alive and well. The strength is in its people. It's the politicians who are helpless. The media that acts to divide us.
Incredible. It's amazingly powerful to see first hand. Two days after and nothing but smiles and optimism.
The best of wishes to those still being effected. Areas like Fayetteville and Lumberton are still not okay. I believe there is a terminal around there.
