Yellow | Hurricanes dampen YRC profits, but rivals ODFL, XPO stay high and dry

It defies logic of any kind that you would stack customers freight on top of each other to travel down the road and then have a forklift come in and try to skim underneath try not to rip open the wrap or paper and destroy whats underneath or crush whatever it is by having the weight placed on top of it. New Penn doesnt stack the freight. It rides on the floor because they dont want to pay the claims. The apology tour is exactly what we get but we only have 1 salesman and he no longer gets a company car, phone etc. YRC is like Sears they have assets they will sell and keep coming up with excuses but when you see ODFL do a sub 81 on OR it tells you how awful we are as a company from the top down.
 
If used correctly they work well, used incorrectly freight falls off, forklift used to destroy door to get inside..................................................
 
management policy-always hire someone dumber, so that you look good. results-idiots everywhere, and those that are not idiots, refuse to do their jobs.
no new hire in coo here has been trained in stacking or work methods to prevent claims. 4 days, then on your own.
it is till more important to humble and humiliate, serially violate any and all agreements, and to persecute, than to make a profit

New Penn started stacking high and tight a few years ago under the leadership of former president Faust who implemented it per YRC directive as a way to reduce linehaul runs supposedly. claims have been through the roof since and on time delivery got so bad they removed all clocks.
