I-44 Crash

From the article:

The second crash involved a 2007 Freightliner tractor-trailer that lost control on westbound Interstate 44 five miles west of Waynesville at 11:48 a.m. and struck a guardrail. The truck's driver, Kvicha Shergelashvili, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was injured in that crash and taken to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon.

Kvicha who?

What kind of name is that?

I bet he is the one that was skewered on the guardrail.

And this one:

In that eight-vehicle crash, only one person reported an injury. Amel Sinanovic, 32, of St. Louis, was taken to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon for treatment of minor injuries.

"Of St. Louis"?

Maybe now, but I bet that person "ain't from around here".

There has been a huge influx of Eastern Europeans operating trucks over here. They tend to be the ones barrel assin' down the road in those filthy, floppy fendered Volvos usually based out of Chicago's northern suburbs. Many of them operate those Ground trucks in spectacular fashion as well.
