I stopped watching the politically correct excuse for racing years ago. The France family caved in to the shakedowns of the likes of Jesse Jackson & other agitators. There is no brand identity in the cookie cutter cars on the track now. I don't know or care who wins or loses. If I want to see some real racing I go to the local tracks or dragstrips.
 
I grew up with NASCAR, Jr Johnson was my hero, we were ran out of Buck Baker's shop when kids just for being in the way.
My brother was in Buddy Baker's class.
I dated Fireball Robert's cousin.
My best friend was a department head at Holman & Moody.
Those days are gone along with Nascar, I'd much rather watch paint dry.
BTW, I was at the first race in Charlotte and the first race on the big track at Daytona.
