The only thing that I probebly may have done different, would be to have done a stint in the military. I never did serve, at the time the armed forces were over-bloated with personel, those were the day's when the military was pushing 'education' as a recruiting technique. I had cousins my age that went in and they could not get the courses that were promised them when they signed up, so needless to say they were discharged early. So figured what the use? I hated school anyway.

If I could have a do-over, I'd have stayed at UPS. I was in management, and looking back now, I really liked what I was doing there. I really like things affiliated with safety in the work place, and could have helped in the Human Resources and Safety dept. had I stayed. But since I was never home, I refused to have kids because of it. So I left ( in part) so that we could start a family. And no job will ever stand in the way of my family.

The only other thing would have been to pursuit a Airplane Pilot career, since I love to travel.

    current job:
Actually I'm glad to be where I am as I'm not required to be gone 7 to 28 days before home time, plus I get $59.00 per day per diem/deim.

    Career/Choices:
To have WOKEN UP when I was 18-23 and SEEN what was possible as well following a passion which would have led me to Yosemite National Park, for one location.

    Thanks Dear!

I looked into getting a ATPL before I started driving semis.

School would have been over 100,000 and lasted about 4 years.

Then you'd be lucky to make $30,000 a year as a FO for a commuter. Might take over 10 years before you start seeing bigger $$$.

Thanks but no thanks. I'll stick with semis.

I regret not investing more in Apple. Microsoft. That sort of thing. And of course what I posted earlier. I don't regret my 4 children. Just some of my choices.

I probably would have accepted the scholarship to medical school and would have been a cardiologist now.

Then again, all the (mis)steps I've taken over the years are what brought me to the point that I met my wife, and I wouldn't change anything that would stop that from happening.

If I had to change things I would be stupid rich and drive around in my BMW with my douche bag lights on everywhere I went, yea, that would be the life.

Wait, I could do the same thing as a truck driver, except the rich part, but then everyone would call me a good buddy for turning on those lights. I suppose I will just stick to the hand I've been dealt in life, try and do the best I can and never be a good buddy like so many others.
