BARTONVILLE -- A four-car accident Tuesday night on Interstate 474 involving a tractor-trailer, a state trooper's vehicle and a tow truck sent four people to the hospital.
Leonard Fearson, who witnessed the accident, said the tow truck was pulling another car out of the snow. The trooper's car, which had it's lights on, was on the side of the road when the tractor-trailer hit it.
“He reached down to grab something or something and he just swerved over to the right and side swiped the squad car and the wrecker,” Fearson said.
