MOSSVILLE -- Hazmat crews worked Tuesday afternoon and into the evening to clear the scene of a rollover truck accident involving a dangerous chemical.
The truck flipped over on the ramp from Route 29 to southbound Route 6 near Mossville in Peoria County.
The accident caused the truck, which was carrying 80,000 pounds of anhydrous ammonia to leak.
Police say speed was a factor in the accident.
The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
