You just never mind it's gone forever.
Hillbilly won't tell he's my friend. :woot:

Can this contract be less than what the teamsters already have and be considered good. Or will have to at least equal the teamsters contract or a little better.

If it is the same or little less that would mean next year the other teamster companies would be ahead of us.

What do you think?

Come on Indy bring us some info.

Don't expect this to be 100% acurate but I heard indy gets 22.15 an hour now. 22.85 in 09 23.69 for2010 24.40 for 2011 25.25 for 2012 26.15 for2013 mileage rate goes from .5519 to .6602 in 2013. overtime after 8. for mileage guys you get payed top hourly rate for all time that you are not driving ie. breaks hooks fueling DELAY etc. grievance procedures , card check agreement for remaining terminals with three year deadline ,pension no details,no 401 k match due to a guaranteed pension, contractors used for lanes with no return freight, thats all I got. Elvis out... p.s. I think the pay is going to be on a cost of living basis. West coast, north east, may have adjustments, just my prediction.

Less use of contract carriers would help us immensly in Portland. We'll have 2 to 3 extra board drivers sitting at home, while our yard has about 3 to 7 contract carriers pulling trailers out of our yard.

Also, does anyone know if previous time with the teamsters will go towards reaching top scale(or if the climb to top scale will be affected in any other way)?

If I'm not mistaken, I believe Reddaways' contract bumped them up to 24 per hour
immediately. And that contract was negotiated for the west coast. So I assume UPSF would at least match that. Just a thought. Elvis out...

Anyone heard if pension will be under Central States are UPS new proposed way of managing the pension?

I think there should be NO CONTRACTORS period!!! We have at least 3-4 of those maggots sitting in our yard every morning. Guys with 10 years in the company aren't being offered road bids because their being used. Not to mention 400 mile freight going right to the rails for SOH. No contractors and no rails. PERIOD
