A mix of rain and sleet and a dusting of snow caused slippery conditions around the area but apparently few traffic mishaps.
Coralville police reported two accidents along Interstate 80 and U.S. Highway 6. Authorities said the wintry mix caused crashes involving a semi trailer truck and a pickup truck. Each crashed into a barricade, with traffic backing up on eastbound I-80.
