What are the current emergency plans for our terminals in Florida?
I went over I-75 at Fla/Ga state line , three lanes bumper to bumper running about 25 mph this morning. I guess the plan is to "haul azz"
In a related note (my company, not YRC)
Houston: all employees and families safe. Warehouse never flooded.
Puerto Rico: all employees and families safe.
No one is going to see if the warehouse still exists, yet.
To Hell with YRC! Let the terminals blow away for all anybody cares! Everyone (Including Family!) Be safe! Get the hell out of there!
Can already hear YRCW saying , DUE to lost of Business from Hurricanes , we will NOT be able to negotiate a 2019 contract so will just need to extend the contract until further notice ! and Hoffa's response, OK what ever works for YRCW and as long as we keep getting our DUE monies weekly its all good !!
I hear they're looking for line haul drivers at YRC Freight in OKC, OK.
Just keep on looking !
They are looking for Drivers EVERYWHERE!
Why? HA! NO MONY! NO RETIREMENT!
Damm And here I was supposed to transfer over next week ! https://finance.yahoo.com/news/yrc-shutters-terminal-puerto-rico-152844784.html
I thought you applied at the Cayman Island terminal so you could be that much closer to the 15% you gave back to the company.
Lost power in N fla...running on backup generator.... everyone be safe!
There has to be more to this union than dues money.Dues monies are not lucrative enough to have this president be so passive.Leaders of men do not act this way
Finally got my power back on ! If you all know any of the power people that came to help in Fla, tell them there's an old hippie in Fla that appreciates their services !
Maybe Hoffa should give himself a big raise to give him more incentive to work harder for the membership?
