This morning our BA was at the terminal and he wanted to know why we hadn't let him know about the change of op's. Usually he find's out when somethings up when we let him know. But today he said he had to get from the fort instead. Freight master must be on vacation!

Why is it that these guys always want to try and spin it like it's our fault when they drop the ball? They're supposed to be our leaders, they're supposed to be the ones we go to, they're supposed to be the ones who inform us. They lose a grievance and it's because we did something wrong. It's their job to steer us and tell us if we erred on our grievance. Incompetent bastards.

There was a change of operations that just got passed. It is 45 pages long. Did nobody get notified of a change.

It is mostly about taking away road runs and making them UE.

We started our new UE run about a month ago. I have no idea why it was such a secret. Road drivers will be offered transfer rights to the eol terminals.

Just a word of caution to the road boards read the mou on how if you were offered a chance to follow work and didn't. YOUR BROTHER ALWAYS!

:2437:Road man follows work to EOL to serve as UE...until the bids come up next time and he gets what his seniority will let him...probably a pay cut.:2437:Welcome to the all new ABF brought to you by your own union and Judy McR.

The change of operations was submitted Tuesday to the International. The company is trying to have it implemented for March. It mostly moving road work to satellite terminals & now run as HXP. If the terminal doesn't generate enough HXP freight for the HXP service points as listed how can this be allowed? the International must do something to block this. The road drivers must be allowed to follow the work regardless

I would think the union should at least fight for the fact a transferring Road driver be paid the highest rate like the old UE Runs pay.

As of right now you won't find it on Teamster.org, all they're talking about is Conway and FedEx.

So where can we see a copy of the change
It doesn't matter.. Did you read above, A BA didn't even know it was happening. used to be, they would meet and discuss. now they submit and union says OK. I knew it was coming for months, thought it was going to happen in October. A BA knew nothing, wow, the state of our Halls.. pathetic. we are essentially non union,, misrepresented. dues are for paying salaries of corrupt leaders only. where is the NLRB, instead of trying to get unelectable people elected, TDU should try and get the Govt to investigate the corrupt.

So XPO Buys ABF THAT'S old NEWS

As of yet haven't been able to get a copy. It is multireigonal and is basically creating more UE runs to breaks and meet and turns. At least according to our BA and like I said he isn't always on top of things
He is correct in this case. Nationwide to create more UE runs
