Yellow | Jevic closes doors

I spoke to a Jevic driver that happened to be an O/O here about a month ago. I posed the question about Jevic closing its doors. He swore up and down there was no way this could happen. It would be interesing to see where he's going and what he is thinking now. He probably thinks im psychic.
 
I hate to see any company close. Every driver represents a family. Dozens are effected by the layoff of one driver. However, when I drove for Stevens I picked up a lot of freight at Jevic's termial in NJ. I thought it was odd. Even felt guilty. After all I'm sure that Jevic drivers were upset seeing other carrier back up to the dock in their yard. God bless all drivers who need a job.
