I bought it for $1400, 13 years ago for the Baby Giant. He eventually paid me the 1400, but he's moved on and it has stayed here. He wants to restore it, soup it up, but, like me with my GTO, marriage and kids change plans.... (I GAVE AWAY the GTO after 29 years. It was dying of neglect, and I would never sell it. After 9/11, I realized I worshipped that car, and I'm not supposed to worship a Thing! Called a Disabled Vets charity, and left the keys and the title in it. Told them to take it before I changed my mind)

When he was being recruited for football, he'd pull into those colleges with this (truck's name is Bubba). 6'8" , 330 lbs (he's bigger and taller now)- Bubba roaring its 350 with straight side pipes, the Baby Giant rolling in with a sleeveless tee shirt. He made an impression!

Bubba has hit a deer, hit a coyote, and at least one racoon. Takes a lickin, keeps on tickin! Only goes to work about once a year, plus a trip or two to the lumber yard now. 235,000 miles- almost broken in!

While the new vehicles can do the miles I don't think they can do the time. All of that electronic stuff starts to fail after 5 or 6 years no matter if it has 30 thousand miles or 300 thousand. And it's paid for whats better!

Here's a photo of my 86 (baby) on the day I sold it, when it was 17 years old and still had the factory paint, at times kinda wished I still had it,but at the time it seemed to be the thing to do.

Just a couple quickies Jimmy, how far below the surface are the caves?, and are there emergency exits to get to the top or like safe rooms to go to in case something goes south?, looks really cool down there.

We have lots of blue Jays and I watch them and see why they are so numerous, they cooperate.
They will band together to evict from their neighborhood a bird that would eat them or their babies.
And when one finds more to eat then he can, he calls in the other blues jays to share.

They're bullies tho. Chase off the finches. Can't chase off WoOdY, our HUGE redheaded woodpecker. I tried all weekend to get a good pic of him. Every time I was sure I had him, Grandkids scared him off, or the Lovely Mrs G had another chore for me...m

Not sure. it's all level, not under near as much dug INTO the Hillside. There appear to be multiple Car exits, trucks can't fit those, and I'd get lost looking. Been told there are 9 miles of roads.

The Grand Boys love Thomas the Tank Engine, and all 'Choos'. Don't have to go far to watch a Choo. Tracks touch my backyard. CSX line goes by 10 times a day. When the boys are here, I put one on my shoulders, and run to watch... The engineers honk when they see us!
