Ups has not returned to the bargaining table since last week. Now the union officers are stuck. They threatened a strike and it would seem UPS is ok with that, so how do you get the talks going again after all the insults and threats have come to this point?
The UPS corporation hasn't gotten to were it is by letting itself be bullied, since the days of James Casey, that company will hit back. If it has been decided in the board room that they aren't budging another inch and will lose hundreds of millions in business, then that is what is gonna happen. Negotiations are like diplomacy, and the diplomacy has been non-existent to this point. Good luck, the union, the employees, company and the customers are all gonna learn some good life lessons.
