Came to truckingboards in searching for pension info about the legislation. TDU has really been helpful.

Not sure I understand your role? Are you an employee of truckingboards? It says staff member or moderator.

Word in our barn is that you are a hard working employee in Atlanta.

Go ahead and say what you want about Welch or any of the others in the house of miracles that’s fine.

Welch is an okay guy. I met him years and years ago. I emailed with him last year during the contract and he replied. Did not agree with everything but replied and I think he really does remember me and he fought like crazy for us to survive.

Never heard him say anything negative about our company.

Ofcourse he is not going to say anything negative about the company because he runs it!

You run this board and it seems to me like you should lead it. Instead you want to dump on our company every chance you get. Go ahead and criticize but offer some ways to change. By gosh there have been crazy things in the past like asking us to sell freight to China. Every fool knows that.

But nothing is good enough for you. Your just as bad as a management suck up but instead of sucking up you kick down.

You just play into the hands of all the sales people from Estes and ADP who bring their customers this board to show what a bunch of dirtbags they think we are. Then they try and get our freight.

I don’t work with dirtbags and I don’t work for dirtbags. This is better than most otr and way better than local cartage. I work with dent folks most of the time.

Go ahead and critize. But sometimes take the fight to the things really can hurt us. I have lost a lot of cutomers to non union companies. I have worked my tail off and sound like you have to get some customers back. But I have fought for the pride of the union name.

Now with the pension cuts coming I will be working until I drop. Don’t kick down on those of us who want to keep working here. Take your shots but show some pride.

We all have to work longer than we planned. That is the only thing I can do.

Every single post ever made on trucking boards is an opinion. It's a message board, an opinion board. Every single post is slanted one way or another. KK has his agenda, like every poster has their agenda. His seem to have become much more militant since he's come out of the office, (but also much more rare than in the past; seems to mostly be on other social media?) and the original poster noted that in his opinion. Only guy who was solid on facts was crucified about 2000 years ago....

I tend to agree with the OP, but wouldn't have said it. The situation COULD (maybe will be now?) Far worse...... Why wake up a sleeping dog? (Which is normally what MY posts do). :1sm364jumpbed:

If the OP is right and you are losing freight because of negative posts, maybe some should consider a different tact...

wow .1st post and comes out firing .bet that ends up biting you on the a$$., seriously you couldnt be farther off . and if you think posting on here is costing shipments you are really drinking the kool-aid . how about making deliveries on time . that might be a start . how about when they call for yrc they get yrc not some scab company running in for their freight .
how about go get some cracker and cheese for that whine and get back under your boss's desk

We went from the two largest LTL carriers to number three combined along with a COO that will shrink us even more. This all must be KK's fault and not Welch.

Here's my take.Welch is an alright guy.Most of us that have been employed here at YRCW have seen morale change negatively.Whether it by the actions of our Union or the methods implemented by Mr.Welch and company.Some of us see these actions as suspect at best.Mr.Welch is supposed to be a well heeled turn around guy.Looks like he has capitalized on his new found profession.I guess when times are tough and corporations such as the late Yellow Transportation gets themselves in trouble.Many ex executives come back in a new capacity.Turnaround specialist.yes we are still in business.What do we really see if we clear out the smoke and mirrors deception?

because I'm not the kind of guy that can just beat around the bush like you . I have something to say i just say it . You are an expert at saying things without ever saying it . You were probably a great a great lunch room lawyer during your short while with the union .I don't and wont play your games or stoop to that level I've never pretended to be anything I'm not .
