R&L | Lack of straps

Just wondering if this is company wide or not. We cant seem to keep straps in the city trailers. The hub rapes the city side every night leaving us with nothing and now it seems the hub has nothing also. Its really frustrating to not have the necessary equipment to carry out my day to day ops on the city when the line haul has a holier that thou attitude when it comes to straps. I think that they really need to equip each trailer with a set amount of straps and keeps them in that trailer. But then, these guys on the hub cant seem to keep anything nice anyway. They destroy every broom they come in contact with.

We had a problem with them for a while,
we started getting pallets of used straps from
other terminals. Outbound doesn't touch the
straps on city trailers anymore but they do
occasionally check the trucks for an extra stash
of straps.

Keep your straps in your tractor. That's the only way you'll keep them. If you try and keep them in your trailer they WILL disappear.
