A memo came out that no deliveries can be left without a signature.
Let the bring backs begin, ! The residentials will be glorious, and by glorious, I mean you won't have to do many of them.

I scratched many a BOL. With my left hand, not the right. Its signed. The office can fight it out later.

I have not seen that memo. Our dispatcher tells us to drop the freight. We write on the bill dropped and the management person name who told us to drop it.

I have only seen one memo ever in my lifetime come down from on high company wide editcs etc.

I rolled one copy up in front of the suit that issued it and in front of him and the entrie room I used it to light a smoke. Then commented what a waste of all of our time over this precious memo... wheels should be rolling.

The place went ooo like a schoolyard does prior to a fight. I was summarily fired. Employers laughed when I told them that story. So no more memos.

Memos are the devil's work I think....
