Lauren Bacall Dead @ 89

i loved her voice.
when i was watching a tv commercial for a cat food (was it for Fancy Feast...??).....i recognized her voice right away, and frankly i didn't know she was still alive. that's when i did a web search on her, and found so many pics of her.

looking at pics of many female stars of an era gone by, she was a beauty.

this has not been a good year for Hollywood, with the many recent deaths, either by natural causes, or suicides (or over-doses).

come this December, when the papers provide a list of all the dead stars,(and other entertainment notables) i suspect it'll be nearly 3 pages.

If the media gave her as much airtime as they have Robin Williams, she would have gotten a posthumus academy award.

just wait and see, coming to a tv soon, a plethora of movies and tv shows on cable to honor them....( sorta like a 24 hour marathon)

my best guess would be TV Land for Robin, and AMC or TMC, or TNT for Bacall's movies.

happens every time a celeb dies, that was popular and famous.

each "could be" recognized at the awards show as "lifetime achievement awards".
