Wow! Forty something layoffs in the west! It is hard to comprehend that forty something people lost their jobs...I feel bad for the drivers and their families, but on the other side of the coin, I had worked at Estes for almost 5 years, had my run cut, and drivers who had worked there for less time were on bid runs, while I had to go on the extra-board... Now, with the lay-offs, I am able to reclaim a bid run. Bout time.......
I am also happy that we are going to bid every year...just want to know what everyone's opinion about the lay-offs and yearly bids are? Hope the drivers that were layed-off find new jobs...
