Hi all :) I'm considering a move west (in KS now) to get back into linehaul and into the Western Conference. I started with CF in '94 then went to Yellow. I switched from city to linehaul when they merged with Roadway and was laid off several months later. Since then I've been working for Kellogg's Snacks here in KS. I've planned to retire in 7 years when I turned 59 but Central States is scaring me to death! My question(s) is, what location would you men/women recommend? I see that Albuquerque and Kingman are hiring. I'd prefer to be in the desert...I've been cold all winter long for enough years. I'd love to be in the Las Vegas area but I'm willing to consider any location as long as it's not WY! I'm also curious if anyone might know what kind of retirement I might get after 7 or even 10 years? Thanks in advance for any help or advise!
