XPO | LTU and the union

You're correct, I don't know what it's like to be in your shoes and quite honestly, I DON'T CARE. Unlike you, who lives in the past, I live in the present and the hard times we're all dealing with now. From my POV, Con-way is the best job I've ever had, and I've had some really crappy jobs in my life, jobs that guys like you would probably be too proud or too scared to even attempt. I view the union as a threat to the health and welfare to the best job of my life and I'm doing and saying what I think is necessary to keep the union away from my employer.

So sad......some posts will never see the light of day.......ya gotta understand were the head is.......

Soooo Mr. ldgarrit.....you have to be one of two things....either a manager or the #1 Conway company man. There are lots of companys that pay OT in our region but not Conway. They demand the maximum amount of work for the least amount of pay. Have YOU ever seen a union company with a cage on the time clock? I DOUBT IT! We are on here requesting the help from the teamsters union to protect our jobs, healthcare, retirement without being threatened with our job every time we turn around. The managment in this company is out of control. And you seem to be right there with them.

So do YOU have any clue about what YOU'RE talking about? I DOUBT IT

Your opinion. I happen to get along quite well with all the management at my SC. I do my work, I don't complain about stupid crap, and every Thursday I collect a nice fat paycheck.

How about Adobe Photoshop. And just what does he think he's doing by taking pictures inside a Con-way terminal anyway?

Adobe Photoshop? LOL. Are you worried about the truth?

That's a large facility. Can this cage be verified?

Am not living in the past. I want my pension funded in the here-and-now.

Are you not living in the past when regurgitating your past employment woes? Again?

I see you finally responded.. I guess when you go from being a lawn boy or working at McDonald's, conway would be the best job you ever had ! I wish I could be a supertrucker just like you and collect them fat checks.
And as far as the pictures go' I have a few more if you wish to see them, cause I know our local union does! So go see if your tm will let you watch them anti-union videos again mr ldg.

This is how they hold you hostage and this is why we want a union.

It's obvious that someone flipped the paper tray over and hung it on the clock.

Well when IDGARRET made a threat to turn in any body with an opinion differant than his on this matter thats not a debate thats a threat. I will debate him all I care to which is I dont want to since he does not know what he is talking about in the first place its all about me me me with him. So I find it funny Dude-pwb- that you commented on my post when he is threatning Conway employees to go with action that goes beyond these posts. I guess he beleives in action speeking louder than words. Thats just chickxxxx.

what happen to the super union meeting in ltu heard there was 4 people there and thats counting the rep from the union sounds like alot of just b.s. talk in the south

Would you like to me to delete your child like rant? You resorted to the name calling first. If you can not debate with out name calling you need to move on ... final warning.

you heard wrong, great turnout more to come ,education is a wonderfull thing knowing the law helps to.

I will move on . The cards will fall where they will in this matter. I am done trying to debate someone on the matters at hand to someone who was 5 when I started here. I personally never belonged to a union. I just would like the pros and cons of one in this situation . Idgarret seems to know all about conway on pay day. Well Conway was alot more than than a paycheck to alot of us. That seems to be Managements side also . Idgarret from his list of previous jobs on another post never belonged to a union either. But he seems to know whats best for Conway. He said I live in the past well I happen to live now employed at the same Co. he does and as far as my future it reads the same due to all the past lies fed to us old tired and worn out to go somewhere else drivers . I am going to stay here and collect my big pay check also. Through all the posts I have read its not about money. Idgarret on my last post ever I found something I agree with you on and that is if you want to make alot of money here you can . Let the cards fall where they may im out of here .

If you guys are getting a kick out of the time clock picture just wait till you see the new and improved high quality air craft aluminum box built for fast deployment. This one comes with piano hinge bolted to the wall and a pad lock. Guess they got tired of the tampering with the previous version.... 100+ employess can vouch for this. Call one of the LTU drivers up if you don't believe me.

Why would you have a strike Cody, do you have any idea what the process really is ?
Oak Harbor is something a bit different now they had a contract and management woke up one day and wanted to change things without negotiating it.
Do you really think your employer wants the front page news that replacing strikers would produce?
Do your customers want to get mixed up in a labor dispute ?
I can see the salesmen from the other LTLs licking their chops now !!
And for YRCW at least they get to vote... Do YOU ?

Going to be interesting watching this train wreck.

If you look closer you can that the cage is not even touching the clock also at the top you can see the clip where it's attached to the wall.

The convict is telling the truth. I have run linehaul from LDA and seen this on the kronos clock in ltu. They replaced it with a steel box now with a lock to mess with every DSR's head. They want you to ask the warden personally, at the sector stand, to go home. I think its more of a power trip thing. I hope they keep the cage out of TX.

so there's more than one kronos clock and the one in the office is locked up so the employees must report to a supervisor at said supervisor's work station to confirm with their immediate supervisor that they can clock out?

Did you read comic books as a kid? Superman went to the bizzaro world where everything was opposite and he met the bad superman. Thats me and you, we are the same but different. This is by far the best job I have ever had. I have had some really crappy jobs as well. Where the bizzaro world part comes in is I view the people running the company as a threat to my health and welfare. I work harder and harder just trying to maintain my families standard of living. A standard of living that we did not have before I got off of the road and signed on with this outfit.A standard of living that I really enjoy and appreciate.A middle class standard living where I can make 70K a year and still make it to my kids baseball games. The company does not want to share the spoils of our success, they want to keep it for themselves. Just think, If they had given us a raise this year they might have avoided all of this.
