Why must we have mandatory sunday meetings? this is a day I need to spend with my family and at church? Our last meeting, managment just read to us a cover letter outlinining our benefits under UPS and said we would be getting more info in the mail. Real waste of our time and company paid us all for 1 hour. I could have read the same letter at home. Do other terminals have meetings on sunday afternoons?
 
no. I draw the line at taking family time. I have been to and skipped some MANDETORY meetings and none were that important that it could not wait til monday
 
Nope, always on monday or wensday's.

My new jobclass is "Freight Redundancy Specialist".

This Person will have the ability
to tolerate mentally challenged dispatchers
who excell in the art of ignorance redundancy,
and can withstand driving 18 wheelers at
top end speeds in circles

Make sure ya log on duty not driving. This way you may not have enough time for your 34hr restart. Then next Friday no one can run. Your TM will only do this once. If its mandatory and you are getting paid you must log it. Have a nice long weekend.:cool:

Thats where they serve up week old bagels and cold coffee. The manager then waste anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes speaking about something that they don't understand either. Then they ask if there is any questions and when you do ask, they shoot you down because they don't have any answers and they'll have to get back to you. Afterwards everybody looks at each other with that distant stare and shrugs their shoulders. I hope that helps you out.
 
If you got paid for one hour for your meeting you were screwed with your paints on!!!!!!

The company has show up pay.

If you have to come into work for any reason you must get paid for two hours pay!!!!!!!!!!
