United States Postal Service just signed a deal to deliver Amazon.com shipments on Sundays starting this holiday season. At first, the program will be limited to LA and New York but next year will be expanded to other cities such as Dallas, Houston, New Orleans and others.

If this bomb just dropped out of a clear blue sky, imagine the heartburn in package management this morning.

United States Postal Service already handles a lot of Amazon.com shipments now.... Fedex smartpost gives the post office a lot of packages now.....Amazon is one of their bigger customers.
