Not bad looking compaired to what?
I thought that some of you might find this article interesting. It gives some background of the people that own NEMF, without the dirt.
Yeah, yeah! Edison grad dating Beatle | Home News Tribune Online
Jon and Nancy both graduated from John P. Stevens High School and would become the first siblings inducted into the school's Hall of Honor. Jon, who graduated in 1975, was among the first class of honorees in 1998.
Jon Shevell was an All-County basketball player, and later played professionally in Europe.....
Nice find - interesting read
as i understood it barb walters is nancys aunt as her late mom is barbs sister
At 65 yrs old. Paul must really want to try out Viagra.
Paul McCartney spotted with Rosanna Arquette
There is no such thing as union corruption, it's a myth.
Shevell made the deal all by himself. He decertified the teamsters without an elction all by himself. No union invol;vement.
Remember, we paid Local 560 for "job security" we did not pay NEMF for protection.
And Tony Pro's lunch date with Jimmy Hoffa went well, except for the murder...
Geez....will we have to relive the crap from 35 years ago forever?
You knew it was a mob job when you started there..... Why did the men in the other terminals go along with the change over to the mechanic's union? 560 didn't have any control of the NEMF drivers in upstate NY & New England, but the owners mafia friends sure did.
As for the lunch date comment, I think that you have watched too many movies. Was it Danny DeVito that killed Hoffa or did he kill JFK? I can't even remember anymore. Guys like Oliver Stone keep rewriting history so much that kids today think that Hurricane was a true story & that the man was really innocent.
Maybe it was Joe Pesci that shot JFK
can't we block these two from the nemf board. they (2631 and puff driver) just can't move on. when baby birds don't fly out of the nest, they're pushed. time to push and lock these two from the nemf nest. :smilie_132:
I can move on, but I do have the right to post a reply to Puff Driver's incessant Teamsters bashing. I didn't start this thread & I certainly don't have a problem with who the owner dates.
If we are posting by the rules & you can't dispute the facts of the posts, then why don't you just ignore them?
i'm just saying take it somewhere else or get over it. this company hasn't been a teamsters company for a long time. it's not a current discussion. it's old news, that has nothing to do with nemf today.
Thats fine with me. But I am still going to respond to Teamster bashing on any site that I find it. If someone continues to rehash the same old lies about the Teamsters, then I will respond to them as a current discussion, old news or not. I'm not taking it anywhere, its on a NEMF board because it was posted by a former NEMF driver & according to him it concerns NEMF & the Teamsters, whether anyone likes it or not. If they leave Local 560 & the Teamsters union out of it, then I'll stay out of it.....And just for the record, everything that I have posted are either proven facts or my opinions based on the truth the way I remember it. You are welcome to dispute anything that I post or you can just ignore it.
But as long as the moderators allow Teamster bashing lies posted on this non Teamster site, then I am going to try & rebutt them.
Puff Driver's claims are old news but this thread & this article Nancy Shevell's Mafia Connections - Entertainment on The Huffington Post are not old news
that's right bro
Okay lets see if we can turn this back into a civil conversation.
Anyone that wants to post in all the forums on the boards are welcome as long as it is done within the rules.
Anyone that has a problem with reading another members post should just put that person on their ignore list.
If you feel like a post is inappropriate then report it and all the staff will discuss it and take whatever action deemed neccessary.
I think from what I've read on all the forums here the vast magority of members think that that staff does a good job of doing exactly what Jeff put it together to do.
Now lets see if we can get back to talking about a Old Beatle kissin' some spoiled little rich girl.
it's a new report of old news. if i told you that on 4/9/1865 the Civil war ended, would you consider that new or old news.
I would consider that as old news that for whatever reason you chose to post today. But if your only reason for posting it was to discredit the Teamsters with lies then I would dispute it.
If you want to go back & reread my posts rebutting Puff Driver then you will see that I have refered to his claims as being ancient history. He is the 1 that continues to post the same old lies over & over & over.
so going on and on about ancient history doesn't fall under rule 16? whatever, proves my point in pm to hbf.
is there anybody out there that remembers Eastern Freightways before the Shevell regime? My dad worked for the brothers who started the company (before the Shevell's got it). I remember Tony Pro and some other characters around , but was too young to get what was going on. Any thoughts, memories, even stuff heard second hand would be great. We lived in Buffalo, if that helps, and sometimes Jersey.
i now want to see nancy kiss a mechanic
