Accidentally stumbled upon this, but it appears that NE Freightways is in the process of completely merging themselves with LAX. Currently, their webpage makes liberal use of the term "North East Freightways (DBA Land Air Express)" and both carriers represent their 12 terminals as a united entity. NE Freightways' webpage also provides links to the LAX webpage and lists LAX's history before their own.

In contrast, the LAX webpage makes no mention whatsoever of NE Freightways.

It’s been that way since they bought Land Air, if you look at he name it says N E Freightways dba Land Air Express . The last Land Air Trk I saw had the US DOT number that belonged to NE( Land Air’s was a mess). It does look like they finally cleaned up the Land Air website.

  1. No matter what company it falls under they still can't pay their bills. So many vendors are owed so much money it's insane.
