ABF | New driver trying to get hired in Chicago area

HR, why not try for a CITY job first, before they can hire from the out side for the road, they they have to offer it to CITY people first.

I was thinking aobut it, but didn't know if that would hinder my chances. I was told that I would lose seniority by switching, and the road pay is what I was looking at making to be honest. At this point though, I'm exploring other options besides getting my hopes up to work at ABF at this time.
