At times CGT has a row of new Estes trailers we load and then rail to their destination. Cheaper than purchase transportation

Estes OWNS most of YRCW-Holland terminals and leases them back to them , so maybe Estes is looking to expand and BUY more terminals with the clause that they get to haul some of your freight as part of the leasing deal ?? Estes is a good company to lease from !

When Viking bought new Wabash trailers, Yellow would pick them up, load their freight on them and rail them west. When empty, they would be delivered to us.
If you have been around the freight business at all, this practice has been going on for 30 years....
