ABF | New Hire Advice

No, you think your doing good, but you refuse the to help this company because of your own personal greed.

I don't even know I why I bother with you. Like in my other thread, you ignore links I posted, and completely make up **** and lie about me. What a POS you are.
I never said anything about communism.
And you still haven't rescinded that remark about me believing capitalism makes you wealthy. I never said of the sort.
And when I kick you ass in debate, which is always. You stoop to mocking and lame hyperbole.

Sorry pal. You can laugh. But you are a Marxist and Socialist.
What kind of vet wants to ignore the 2nd Amendment, and limit Americans rights to guns? You forget the oath you took? Uh? Or does it even matter to you?

You put your own self-interest above anything else. Talk about selfish. And you have the nerve to call others greedy?

Hell you care more about that silly Teamster Constitution then the US Constitution. How pathetic is that?
Funny how big time CEO's and corporations can make as much as they want, but A truck driver is selfish to want A little more to help his family! I forgot that doesn't fit the republican agenda.

You always go to the CEOs.

Yes its selfish to run a business into the ground for personal gain, be it a CEO or labor.

Question Azz, can labor be selfish and greedy too, or is just CEO's?

This is the Union ltl industry when the work force cann't stand strong, been beated down by Union ltl company's going out of business. There has not been a proposal put before the worker's and fighting each other as to what should be in the next contract. Every teamster industry is under attack. Pension funds are being attacked. If u think that ABF will be in the funds 30 years from now or are you going to be in 5 or 10 years. You may want to choose the other job or stay were your working.

He really is A hypocrite isn't he?
He is a piece of work and I am glad that he is on the other coast. You're not stalking him are you? He doesn't like stalkers. I have to go for how, Stonehead has sent us drones out to hunt down a fugitive cop killer out in the L.A. area.

Obviously they can according to you, they're the only one's you ever blame. I think of how foolish you sound and hypocritical, you say you support the union, but you clearly can't stand collective bargaining and what it's meant to you and your family personally. It must make you sick to your stomach to know that you belong in A union and despise everything about it,but clearly don't have the balls to stand up and quit! What A two faced person you are. You must be A real role model for your kids, telling them your great consevative talking points and then crawling off to work to do just the opposite!

You know, I already exposed you as liar, Jimmy has done the same, and you continue to lie. When did I ever say Labor is always to blame, and I sand against collective bargaining. Now I know your silly game. You make claims about others then challenge them to prove you wrong, which is absurd! If you make a claim about someone, the burden of proof is on you. So take the day, hell I'll give you week to find any posts where I said any such thing.

The only thing you may find is that I'm against collective bargaining for public sector employees. Which I stand by, and in total agreement with FDR and former AFL-CIO union President George Meeny on.

And if I'm hypocrite, than so are you. You say you served for this nation, but you admittedly hate the US Constitution and the freedom and liberty its suppose to protect.

And Love this line, "then quit!" Hey Mcfly! I'm not against the unions, I'm against the polices and ideas they endorse that IMO will hurt unions. But you and the other idiot Teamster/Union drones can't graqsp that concept, can you?

What policies and ideas would that be?Are you for the company or the union who backs you in these contract negotiations? And you say your all for collective bargaining? But wasn't your hero Reagan A union buster? Do you disagree with his conservative thinking?

Policies like higher taxes, increased pointless regulations.

I'm for the best contract that gives the best possible contract to the union, and allows the company to be competitive and profitable.

Reagan busted no union. Why do you drones always leave out the fact that the Air Traffic Controllers broke the law?

What law was broken?Who said the union was for higher taxes?Or regulations? So if the union says they'd like to keep everything they have now plus another buck an hour and the co says go pound sand, you'll be ready to strike?

What law? Man you are clueless! Here you go!

Taft-Hartley Law. {5 U.S.C. (Supp. III 1956) 118p}

You have to be kidding me! Unions are always talking about higher taxes. Only they call it paying their fair share!

If I think the contract is fair, but the union calls for a strike, then so be it.

I'm opposed to taxes altogether and believe we should pay as we go. Have a kid? pay a school tax, need a policeman? pay a bill for his service, going to 7-11 for some stuff? pay a highway toll based on how many miles you drive. All traffic lights should stand red and have a coin box like a bubble gum machine, you want green? put in some cash and an electronic counter so it's one car at a time only. And so on, wadda your say about that?

Funny thing that postal workers were allowed to strike and they are A branch of the govt, but air traffic controllers weren't.Reagan was antiunion even though he was A member of A union himself. Sounds like someone on here doesn't it?This guy hated unionized labor and was opposed to it at all costs.Ronald Reagan's War on Labor (Labor) by Dick Meister How are unions for higher taxes?

I didn't know the Postal Workers were government employees? Isn't that liberal line?

Regardless, the Air Traffic Controllers broke the law, you didn't even know that, now you do, and since you couldn't defend that, you quickly changed the subject.

And if Reagan was anti-union, then so was FDR and Former AFL-CIO President George Meeny.

Who here at TB is is an anti-union union member?

The Air traffic controllers were put in a position that they had to break the law, and they did it with the assumed assurance that President Reagan wouldn't enforce that particular law , as they had heavily donated to his campaign. Read your history. I believe we're a little off- subject here. Brother DieselGeek is trying to make an important decision, and has asked us for advice. Don't you have a site of your own, Stoney, where you can pontificate all you want?

Excuse me Canary, I was replying to Azz's posts and he was the one that brought up Reagan. If you want to get on me, thats fine, but why not him too?

BTW, the Air Traffic controllers did have a choice. Go back to work or get fired. And unions believe now Presidents should ignore the law in their favor?
