    Dicom and New Penn
    Partner to Provide Cross-Border Services
CHICAGO, Ill. – June 17, 2016 – Dicom Transportation Group and New Penn today jointly announced a partnership to provide cross-border LTL services. This collaboration allows both companies to offer broader coverage and enhanced capabilities, with New Penn providing U.S. LTL service, and Dicom providing cross-border and intra-Canada LTL service. With both companies working together, customers will have access to more competitive north and southbound service.

“We are extremely excited about our partnership with New Penn,” said Scott Dobak, Dicom CEO. “Both New Penn and Dicom are market leaders--New Penn in the United States and Dicom in Canada, providing an exemplary customer experience centered on fast and reliable overnight transit. This partnership will offer both Dicom and New Penn customers a seamless cross-border service with most lanes operating as a 24-hour service.”

“With Dicom as our partner within Canada, New Penn customers will have immediate access to the expansive Canadian footprint Dicom maintains,” said Don Foust, president of New Penn. “At New Penn, we strive to exceed expectations with each and every delivery. Our commitment to excellence is what allows us to deliver quality, award-winning, next-day LTL service day in and day out, year after year.”

New Penn is celebrating 85 years of industry-leading transportation service excellence. With the most next-day shipping lanes to and from Canada in its footprint, New Penn crosses the border with faster transit times and guaranteed delivery options, including next-day service to the greater Toronto area and parts of Montreal. Standard next-day and two-day delivery is provided to all direct Ontario and Quebec points.

Dicom previously announced the expansion of its parcel services into the U.S., integrating the acquisition of its U.S. parcel network into its Canadian parcel network. The New Penn partnership allows Dicom to offer its customers both LTL and parcel services in a large footprint spanning all of Canada and the northeastern U.S.

Management has not even mentioned this deal. Dicom has it on their website as does YRCW but nothing from New Penn.
Wondering how much freight it is and what the revenue projections are.

dicoms CEO was ex yellow/president of roadrunner ltl. faust moved up to vp of sales at roadrunner when dicoms pres. was promted at roadrunner. than dicom pres. partnered with private equity firm and they bought dicom. in 2014. obviously he left roadrunner and that was also about the time faust was hired to run npme. so now here they are parterning up togather again. every were you look at npme we are getting yellow/yrc shoved up our ass...

Holland already services Ontario and Quebec. Why would NP not use them?

Using Holland would make it more difficult to cut the rates.

Dicoms CEO was a former YRC sales moron, then went to Roadrunner and hired all his yes men ( Donnie F). Promoted his yes men, allowed his yes men to hire their own yes men (Wayne S aka oriolefan). Then was forced out of Roadrunner after him and his sales force decimated the profit margins. He then joined Dicom. Circle of incompetence continues.

  16. Sounds like somebody from Roadrunner is angry because they can't make money. New Roadrunner team has not made money in 2 years. Prior to that they were printing money. I would share with all. Go to RRTS STOCK PRICE and look at the 5 year history. Look at the stock value 3 years ago and prior and look at it today. Facts are hurtful.

Looks like we found Wayne's other account.
Does Don make you rinse out your mouth before you service him? That Skoal smell is so unpleasant.

  18. Wow, must have really touched a nerve. Still not responding to facts. What about the stock losing 70% of its value since Fluffer came on. You can also go back and listen to prior earnings call. Listen how LTL made money and now how LTL has lost money every month and the market questions it.

My apologies. I forgot you did such a great job they didn't FIRE you. Oh wait they did fire Don, Bryan, you and others because you lost the company soooooo much money that they knew the stock would crash within the next 3 quarters. So did they at least give you cab fare after the FIRED and your buddy 2400 miles away from home on the road. Your the Hillary Clinton of the LTL freight world. If you weren't Don's lackey, you'd never be employed.

Holland uses Speedy Transport in Ontario and Quebec. New Penn was using them too, at least until this happened. This is Speedy's second big loss after screwing themselves out of OD. Now all they have left are Holland and SEFL.
