When I worked at Preston we were expected to go get a city tractor and get our own trailer if the spotter was behind in moves. Long as the door had been cleared of a trailer. Every employee was cdl qualified

I'd be careful about doing that Mud. If you sat on it, the part that rises up to engage the trailer kingpin might accidentally insert itself into your posterior with rather unpleasant results.

I would be willing to bet half the dock help and none of the supervision could put a trailer to the dock with that machine. That would make for some good laughs.
