This page has been pretty boring lately, so let's hear your newest rumor going around!
I heard Mildew drinks margaritas with his fajitas now...
Makes sense cause I heard Mildew is actually Rob Estes and he's engaging with his employees, that's almost 100% true, part time dock worker who just started filled me in on that
They sold the old 035 terminal. Rumor is we're getting the place these guys are vacating and maybe joining the 2 yards. The backs meet each other anyway.
Also heard they're building a big Amazon distribution center right across the street.
I heard DHL was buying Estes, because they said your trucks are already painted their colors....
That's funny, I heard Estes was gonna buy DHL!
I heard Central Transport was going to buy you. Rob and Matty are teaming up to make LTL great again.
Yeah a owner op told me the same thing one day while I was making a delivery
All Canadian freight will be delivered by combo drivers , and they will be paid hourly. Based on hire date in that classification because seniority dissent matter here.
It's my understanding we're running meets, so I was wondering if it'd be linehaul or combo. Speedy's been asking for guys willing to haul sets on our end since we can't anticipate what you guys will send to us.
There was a rumor around here that Amazon made Rob an offer, but apparently Big E is not for sale. Ever...
RUMORS, Well we have decided to add some capacity to our operation. So I am happy to announce that we are going ahead with acquisition of Old Domionion freight lines. This purchase will make us the 2 nd largest less than truckload carrier in the nation. This will take effect on June 15,details to follow.
Oak harbor and reddaway would've been more believeable.
Yeah right. I heard it was OD acquiring you. Grandfather y'all in.
I heard Harbor Freight is going to handle all road calls. Signed a bid for the maintenance end of it all and beat out Fisher Price
I heard June 31st....
What company could Estes purchase that would benefit them? I think the company would be better off spending money on bigger, newer terminals. Riverside would do well with a yard as big as West middlesex.
Nope, not 100%, Wong's rule says can be only 85% Unless LEAP year!
