Billy has "The Do Drop Inn" a way point on the drone's GPS.
Yep, them city boys tear up everything.
Oh yeah it's the city alright. You show up in the early hours at PDX and you'll see line drivers dropping trailers, driving around like mad men backing into trailers, throwing gears all over the place and flying into the center curb at the entrance as they pull into the yard at Mach 3. What a shame when the yard hostlers of a terminal drive more professional than the dang drivers.
Don't feel embarrassed, I think they do meet and greets at the sister location in the Dalles.
Thats ok Billy, one of these days them drivers coming into PDX the wrong way will be in for a shock when the city puts up the cones that will not allow them to make the illegal left turn into the terminal. I just wait for the day someone rolls a back box coming off MLK and then try to say they didnt know they wern't allowed to go that way. When PDX first opened, there was a letter posted explaining the correct way to enter and exit the facility which was agreed on by OD in order to get permits for the facility so, its just a matter of time til the city puts up those barriers...geez one day last week I met a set of triples turning left out of the driveway just to get to Jubitz faster I guess..ran the back 2 over those concrete dividers, so much for alignment on trailers
Never did like to jubitz, unless I had a few drinks.
I hate to say it, but only a matter of time before they have an incident in PDX like we had in SEA a few years ago with the way those drivers are in such a hurry. I wish T would hide out some night and see what is actually going on.
Its been brought to Mr T several times. I always stop guys and tell them to slow down.. one new driver told me h didnt know there was a speed limit ..aske dif he could read.. told him next time he comes thru the gate READ the BIG SPEED LIMIT SIGN in front of his truck..just say'n...its just a matter of time...only hope this time I hope someone else knows first aid
My God, complain, complain and back bite. First of all I know that our night hostler thinks it’s the Indy 500 there. I’ve personally turned him in a couple of times. Secondly, most of our experienced drivers have no problem with following instructions and knowing the posted speed limit. You’re dealing with the bottom of the board. The super truckers that know way more than me. Allegedly. Thirdly we don’t need Mr. T around there. The funny thing is that you go to people with a issue and nothing is done about it.
Hey I know that trailer. Just ask Billy, that’s one that I pulled from MEO. I flipped it and just decided to pull it as is. Can’t deny the photo.
Didn’t it use to be parked by your wrecked Volvo in the corner lot?
