More than 3 hundred homes in Owego are without power after a New England Motor Freight truck driver swerved off the road in front of NEMF's offices on Sulphur Springs road.
The driver spilled his cup of coffee in the cab and when he looked down he skidded off the shoulder and took out a utility pole. The downed wires caused 341 homes just west of the crash to lose power. The driver of the truck was not injured.
