http://www.cnn.com/2017/09/28/us/green-bay-packers-linked-arms/index.html Seems fans agree with the players as well. Maybe packer fan are all leftist as well.
If you live next door to me, I could care less what you are. Leave me alone and I'll do the same. Once you figure out your neighbor is not the enemy, and they do the same, that's when you have a good neighbor.
NFL corporate sponsors speak out
Seems like corporate America agrees with players as well.
NFL corporate sponsors speak out
This isn't about race for me. I'm not a ******. If a group of white athletes had a cause they were protesting on the field and were kneeling during the national anthem I would feel no different. Football use to be a place to come to get away from the everyday grind for blue collar workers. Now its just political BS. The NFL shouldn't be a platform for this type of behavior.
https://www.theshadowleague.com/sto...neels-because-black-people-are-getting-killed Great thing to teach children. Totally disgraceful !!!! How about opening a dialogue and not teaching the children more racial division and ultimately hatred.
The alt right is non-existent and damn sure doesn't speak for me if they do exist.
Yep. Great idea. Teach them hate and resentment at a young age. Idiots.
There are sponsors abandoning the NFL also.
If you want change, why do you promote more division among the races?
You don't make any sense.
if the issue has made it to the football field maybe that means it’s serious enough that it needs to be addressed.
Same post Nike made feelings known they respect players rights. Doesn’t say anywhere they’re abandoning the league.
You say non existent shame your so in denial.
Fans chant USA at Packers game . Their attempts for fans to go along with their bullshi t
falls flat according to other news sources that don't lie to the peasants and dance for their puppet masters.
I would like to ask these guys what they are protesting and why and ask them to defend their position
sure we are not a perfect country, check out some of these other nations where this type of behavior would get you executed
these people make more money in a season than most of us will make in two decades if not a life time
They need to take an inward look at the problems in their community
what are they doing to fix those problems, what are they doing to help the poor education system and lack of opportunity
sure there are problems but this is not the place to "protest"
too many people have sacrificed too much to allow them to make a damn fine living playing children's games
and yes the NFL, MLB, NBA, etc.... are huge businesses, that one of the first rules of business is to not piss off your customers
Players, coaches and other staffers locked arms on the sidelines during the national anthem. Many fans at Lambeau Field cheered and chanted ''USA! USA!'' while a large American flag was unfurled at midfield before the anthem.
Packers players released a statement this week saying they would intertwine arms before the game as a show of unity. They asked fans to join in the stands and at home, though it didn't appear that many fans locked arms. Many people in the crowd held up small flags during and after the anthem.
Could you repeat that? I didn't get it the first time. What's Anheuser Busch have to say about it?
Of course there would be little participation, it's a juvenile request. Those players can try to assert their relevance on us all they want but in the end they are only as relevant as we let them be. They are not the sun, the air, the water or the nutrition we all need to live and they will soon realize it. Whether or not they figure it out fast enough to save their careers has yet to be seen.
I have a couple of questions for you:
1) Do you think that blacks have it worse today than they did in ehhhhh say 1975?
2) Do you think that this recent behavior on their part is shrinking, or enlarging the racial divide?
By the NFL allowing these protests and not allowing the Dallas Cowboys to honor the massacred police officers, speaks volumes...
